I am making available online the entire CD that came with the hp iPAQ 6300 Series PDA. This is to be used only if you have this unit, however you have lost it. The only file I have deleted from here is the Microsoft folder which contained ActiveSync 3.7.1 and Microsoft Outlook.

If you want ActiveSync then it is available here.

The most requested application from this CD was the hp mobilePrinting Application. So I have extracted that separately (to save on your download time) and it is available here.

The entire CD (without Microsoft Outlook, and ActiveSync) can be downloaded here.

Please bear in mind, in order to use this you will first need to extract the archive two times (kind of like that box inside of a box deal but inside the second box is your prize). You can download 7-Zip from here or here. To extract simply install 7-Zip, then download the CD's ISO. Once downloaded right click on the file and under the 7-Zip menu select the "Extract Here" option. After extraction is complete you can now either mount the image or extract it again.

If you want to mount the ISO image you'll need something like Daemon Tools available here or here. (Be warned, Daemon Tools now comes with a bit of advertising. So they encourage you to install it so the makers can get a little food money, however if you feel unsafe you may simple "uncheck" the option to install it when installing the software. Alternatively, if you do install it and later decide you don't want it, the advertising software can be removed from the Add/Remove Programs menu in the Control Panel.) To mount the ISO image, simply right click on the system tray icon (the lower right corner of the screen) for Daemon Tools, select the first option (I can't remember the exact name sorry) and select the option to mount image, or emulate image on a drive. (Sorry I personally use Alcohol 120% but since it isn't free I didn't make it an option.)

If you want to extract the ISO image you'll need a program like WinRAR which is available here or here. When you install the application make sure you check mark the ISO file extension upon completion of setup. To extract the ISO image, after installing WinRAR right click on the ISO image and highlight WinRAR and select the option to "Extract to h6300_CD." Now depending on how you installed it you might or might not see that WinRAR menu after you right click. If you don't then simply launch the program then proceed to open the ISO from the program itself.

As always, any question hop on over to http://www.pdaphone.com as I'm sure there will be some to help you out.

Cheers!
