Disclaimer: All data from your unit will be lost when you do this. I highly emphasize DO NOT restore backups after doing this ROM Update. Instead take out the extra couple of minutes (hours) and re-install the application from ActiveSync. Tools---Add Remove Programs. Be warned! For those who have any ROM prior to including ROM version 1.10.08 (the official h6315 ROM) you can get the XIP update which updates the Wi-Fi drivers to 2.00.49.63.  Why is this here you ask? Well HP had it up but then pulled it for whatever reason for awhile and now it's back (as of 06-29-05).  What do I need it? Well you don't need it if you have no issues with your wifi, hence it's recommended but not mandatory.  Advantage of using this as opposed of getting Set IV?

  1. No warranty voiding
  2. You won't have to perform a hard reset.
